Our Natural European Latex Mattresses

Every mattress in this range is made in Belgium from 100% natural latex, then shipped to us in Crows Nest. There are three models, the Euro, the Madrid and the Monaco, and they differ in height and feel rather than in quality of materials.

Natural latex is a very different sleep surface to spring or memory foam. It responds instantly instead of sinking slowly, it does not trap heat the way memory foam does, and it holds its shape for decades rather than years. That is why these beds carry a 25 year warranty.

If you would like to feel the difference before you decide, all three are on the floor at our showroom, 469A Pacific Highway, Crows Nest NSW 2065.

All three use the same 100% natural latex. Choose on feel and height:

• Euro, 22cm, from $1,366. A medium latex core with a soft topper layer bonded on top. Flip it over and you sleep directly on the core for a noticeably firmer feel, so you get two firmnesses in one mattress. Our most broadly suitable bed and the entry point to the range.
• Madrid, 25cm, from $1,695. Medium-firm, with isolated support through the core. Best suited to sleepers who want gentle but definite support, and to less curvy builds.
• Monaco, 30cm, from $3,600. Gently soft and plush. Built for pressure relief at the shoulders and hips while the lower back stays supported, and for sleepers with sensitivities.

Our European mattresses use the Dunlop method, which allows the latex to settle naturally in the mould rather than being frozen as it is in the Talalay method.

Settling naturally gives a slightly denser, more durable latex with consistent support right through the core. It is the reason a latex mattress can still be doing its job after twenty years, where a foam bed has usually gone soft in the middle long before that.

The Euro and the Madrid come in Single, Long Single, King Single, Double, Queen and King, in standard Australian sizes. The Madrid is also available as a European Queen, 160 x 200.

The Monaco is made in Queen and King only.

Our European mattresses carry a 25 year warranty, which is among the longest offered on any mattress in Australia and reflects how slowly natural latex loses height compared with foam.

The warranty covers manufacturing faults and loss of height beyond normal settling. It does not cover comfort preference, damage, staining or an unsupported base, so it is worth checking your base is up to the job before delivery.

Yes. Every European mattress comes with our 180 night Comfort Guarantee, so you have a full six months to be certain. The guarantee applies to mattresses only, not to toppers, pillows or accessories.

We ask that you sleep on it for at least 14 nights first. Natural latex feels different to a sprung or memory foam bed and your body genuinely needs a fortnight to adjust. Most people who are unsure at night three are settled by night fourteen.

If it still is not right, contact us and we will arrange one exchange to another model, with the price adjusted. The mattress needs to come back clean, undamaged and in its original packaging, so please keep the packaging. Delivery and incidental charges on the return and the replacement are the customer’s responsibility, and delivery fees already paid are not refunded.

Delivery on the European range is charged and is calculated at checkout based on your address. Deliveries to Western Australia and the Northern Territory are always charged, for every product we sell.

Two extras are available in Sydney metro:

• Old mattress removal and recycling, $50 per item, or $100 for a mattress and base together.
• Assembly, available for an additional fee.
