At 30cm the Monaco is the deepest and softest mattress we make. The medium soft core lets shoulders and hips sink in rather than pushing back at them, which is usually what side sleepers with shoulder or hip pain are missing.
A deep latex core soaks up movement instead of transmitting it, so one person turning over does not travel to the other side of the bed. It is the reason the Monaco works as a couples mattress rather than a compromise between two people.
The Monaco was designed around two people sharing a bed rather than one person sleeping alone. Its medium soft surface takes two different body weights and sleeping positions on the same mattress, which is usually where couples end up compromising.
