The open cell construction of latex promotes airflow. Natural movement during sleep on a latex mattress encourages air to move in and out through the open-cell structure and the pinholes. This prevents heat retention. Revor allows extra movement of air when moving during your sleep. This happens because when you move on the open-cell structure of latex, it creates a ‘pump and suck’ effect that encourages air to move into the area you just vacated.
Millions of interconnecting bubbles mean that every tiny little bubble that makes up latex is connected, thus creating a lung that inhales and exhales as you move on the mattress. Latex has the least heat retention compared to all mattresses using synthetic foams.
Open-cell mattresses draw warm air away from the body while allowing cool air to flow through. Heat ruins quality sleep. By pulling the warmth away from the body and allowing cool air in, the open-cell technology of latex mattresses allows you to keep your cool and get a great night’s sleep.
Latex used to get hot as they were made with a closed-cell structure and a synthetic cover. Approximately 15 years ago Revor started making latex with an open cell structure and a natural cover which removed heat retention. With a natural latex block and a natural cover, heat will not be an issue. Also, no glues are used in the Revor which promotes breathability.

Yes, although Revor has a zip-off washable cover, we recommend a mattress protector as it will be washed more frequently than the zip-off cover. Think of it as a mattress insurance policy.

A natural zip-off washable cover ensures no skin cell or dust mite build-up. A mattress’s weight can double over 10 years with what they collect, and if any accidents happen, it can be removed and washed. The natural zip-off washable cover can be washed at 30°C degrees.
Yes, natural latex mattresses are repellent to dust mites, mold, mildew, and other types of bacteria. A latex mattress is the only mattress that is naturally resistant to dust mites. Latex, which is made from the sap of the rubber tree, is naturally resistant to dust mites as it is an inhospitable environment for them to thrive in.

How long is the Revor mattress warranty period?
Revor mattresses come with a 25-year defect warranty, excluding natural settling, soiling, staining, damage to the cover, or actual latex not under our control and mould on the cover.

What is bamboo fabric?
Bamboo is naturally anti-fungal and anti-bacterial. It has the lowest carbon footprint of all fabrics and is considered the most breathable fabric on earth.
Is latex anti-allergy and dust-mite free?
Latex is a naturally anti-allergy and anti-dust mite.
What is the effect of a buildup of skin cells?
Skin cells and dust mites can make up to 1/3rd of old mattresses. It is scary how much dust (skin flakes) accumulates in a mattress over the years. Even regular vacuuming cannot clean as well as an occasional wash for superior hygiene.
Is latex cultivation sustainable?
The collection of rubber sap is sustainable as it does not require chemical fertilizers or pesticides. It is actually carbon negative.
Can you expect your new bed to last 20 to 30 years?
The choice magazine says to expect 20-25 years from a good quality latex mattress. Most innerspring manufacturers say to expect 8-10 years of good life from their mattresses!
Mould incidence
Mould and mildew cannot grow on latex. However, it can grow on the cover of any mattress and may stain the latex. Replacement bamboo covers are available for purchase upon request.

How much is delivery?

Delivery of Latex Toppers, pillows, linen and Manchester will be by Australia Post.
How long does it take for my order to be shipped?
In Sydney within 5 working days, the rest of Australia will depend on the distance.
7-12 working days delivery (Capital Cities)
Depending on your location, delivery to regional areas may take 7-21 days.
Am I contacted before delivery?
Yes, you will be contacted the day before and given a 2-hour delivery window.

Can delivery drivers bring my products inside/upstairs?
In Sydney yes, for the rest of the country, it will depend on the transporter used.

Can I pick my order up?

Yes. For an additional fee, our professional delivery team can unwrap and assemble your order within the Sydney Metro Area. Please phone 02 9436 4870 to find out if this service is available in your area and to access a full quote.
Delivery days and confirmation
For mattresses and bases, a courier will contact you the day before to arrange delivery times. The appointment is typically a 4-hour window period Monday to Friday. Any specific delivery requests confirmed at the time of placing your order will be scheduled accordingly. However, please feel free to call 02 9436 4870 with further queries and one of our service consultants will assist you.
Returns
What is the 180-day Comfort Guarantee?
When you purchase a mattress from Latex Bedding Company, you’ll have 180 nights to make sure that you’re 100% comfortable. We recommend that you allow a minimum of 14 days for your body to adjust to your new mattress to suit your personal individual preference.
If you decide to exchange your mattress within the 180-day trial period, simply contact us by email or phone us on 02 9436 4870 and we will gladly exchange your mattress for you. See our terms and conditions below for more details.
What is Revor's return policy?
If returned within the trial period, there will be a $200 plus delivery fee.
We hope you will be happy with your purchase but if it is found to be unsuitable, you may exchange your purchase subject to our discretion.
All returned items must be in original undamaged condition and contained within the original packaging.
If you have purchased a mattress from Latex Bedding Company, the 180-day comfort guarantee applies. All delivery and incidental charges to return the item or deliver the new item are the customer’s responsibility and Latex Bedding Company delivery fees will not be refunded.
Can I change my order?
If you find that for any reason you need to change an item in your order, please call us on 02 9436 4870. Once an order has already been processed and dispatched from our warehouse, we, unfortunately, cannot cancel or vary it. You will then need to follow our Returns and Exchange procedures.
How do I return my order?
To confirm that your purchase qualifies for a return, please contact us at 02 9436 4870 or email us at crowsnest@latexbeddingco.com.au with your name, original order number and the item you are returning.
If we are satisfied with your claim, and once the item is back at our warehouse, we will arrange for delivery of the replacement item. All delivery and incidental charges to return the item or deliver the new item are the customer’s responsibility and Latex Bedding Company delivery fees will not be refunded.
What happens if my goods are damaged on delivery?
At Latex Bedding Company, we take great pride in the quality of our mattresses and bedding products. Due to the distances that many items are couriered, damages may be incurred from time to time. Every item is carefully inspected before leaving our warehouse. We encourage you to do the same upon receipt of your purchase.
In the unlikely event that an item is found to be damaged or defective on receipt, please contact us at 02 9436 4870 within 24 hours. We will replace any item that is found to be defective at the time of delivery. Alternatively, we will refund the total cost of your order, including delivery and return charges after inspection of the damaged or defective item.
All damages to the items MUST be notified in writing with accompanying photos of the damages, within 7 days of delivery, to crowsnest@latexbeddingco.com.au. A customer service agent will manage the replacement of this item as soon as is logistically possible.
How long will it take to receive my refund?
The refund will be processed once we’ve received confirmation that the mattress has been collected. You will receive an email notifying you of the refund (please note that all refunds will be processed through the original payment method).
What do you do with returned products?
Charities are approached; however, if they don’t accept it, it is disposed of, we are currently working on a recycling project where the latex will be recycled into useful products.
I bought my Revor product from my friend. Can I return it for a refund?
No.

How is the natural latex produced?
The Dunlop method.
What are the Dunlop and Talalay processes, and what type does Revor use?
Revor uses the Dunlop method that allows the latex to settle naturally rather than freezing it as per the Talalay method.
How much weight can a Revor mattress hold?
The Revor mattresses are tested for hardness and height durability. A 140kg load is rolled 60,000 cycles over a mattress to simulate ten years of usage.
Why is it important to consider the lifespan of a mattress, and how do I check if I need a new one? What are factors that influence their lifespan?
Revor latex mattresses, with normal wear and tear, can lose up to 5% being 9mm in height over ten years of usage. Latex mattresses have a reputation for providing up to 25 – 30 years of usage. It is important to consider that the human body changes over time, and one’s level of comfort can alter with this. In rare instances, individuals may need to change to a different mattress even though the original would still have many years of life left. Another factor that influences the lifespan of a latex mattress would be use out of the norm, such as more than the average of 8 hours of sleep per night.
